• Permanent Jewelry (sometimes abbreviated as PJ or PMJ and called infinity, welded, flashed, linked and fused) is a piece of jewelry, typically a necklace, bracelet, or anklet that is welded

together instead of closed with a clasp.

  • It is a great way to mark a special occasion or event in your life by adding an easy seamless piece of jewelry to your everyday. Whether you are wanting it to represent the birth of a child or life event, or just want to avoid the hassle of removing your jewelry every day we have a piece ready and waiting to be custom made just for you!

  • How Does it work you ask? So easy! First you will go through our options of chains including mostly gold filled and sterling silver.

The hard decision making part could end there for you but you can take it a step further and select charms or connectors to bling out your new permanent piece. A trained welder will then custom fit and weld your piece right on your body. It really is that simple, Choose-Fit-Weld! The longest part of the process is being able to narrow down between all your favorites styles and designs. The good news is, you don’t have to! We’d love for you to mix and match pieces or “stack” your pieces together. No one wants to make those kind of tough choices.

  • A bracelet is usually the most popular type of permament jewelry but the sky is the limit for what you can design with me. Anklets, necklaces, and even rings are all options we custom fit. Rings are only included at this time as an add on service, so grab a bracelet and add on a ring! A selection of premade rings in multiple sizes available as well as toe rings we will measure and custom fit to you for a “permanent” toe ring.

  • Keep in mind just like any other fine jewelry, permanent doesn’t mean indestrucible. Permanent simply refers to the removing of a clasp and a custom welded fit. How you care for your jewelry will determine how well it holds up over time. It can break, snag, and stretch just like any other jewelry. Just to keep in mind the daintier or loose the chain and/or charm the more at risk for damage or breakage. Permanent also doesn’t mean forever. While your piece can last you a very long time many factors influence the longevity of your jewelry. The fact that it is meant to be worn daily leads to more “wear and tear” than your normal jewelry. How you ultimately take care of your permanent jewelry piece will play a LARGE part in how it holds up over time.

  • What if you are someone who loves to change out your pieces from day to day? You want bigger, bolder, brighter? Your welded piece can still be a permanent one to mix and match with whatever your style screams that day but we can also always add a clasp to any piece to make it removable. We also will offer seasonal Enamel chain that we recommend adding a clasp to, so it can be changed up as often as your style or mood decides. Either way it’s a great way to mark a special occasional, milestone, or relationship. Think grown up friendship bracelet!

  • The whole process only takes about 15 minutes give or take. The weld itself is done in no time. Again the decisions and custom fit are what will take up most of your appointment time. If you want to further speed up the process, search our list of current inventory to start designing the perfect piece for you.

  • The inventory list will be updated as often as possible but may not be 100% accurate at the time of your visit. Also while that is the inventory we have available, we may only have 1 or 2 of a certain charm/connector or certain length left on a specific chain. If an item is out of stock at the time of your visit we can reschedule once an inventory order is placed and arrives. I never know which items will be the most in demand at any given time, so something may be unavailable and suppliers may even be out of stock. You can always pick another piece or design for that day, reschedule, or even get one and come back again at a later date for another.

Permanent Jewelry

What is it and why you need it!

Lets talk about the BLING!!!

Solid Gold (yellow, white, rose)

These are made of different levels of purity of solid gold and are fading and tarnish resistant. They are classic and timeless. They are durable and high quality making them more $$$. However they are a soft metal which makes it more prone to stretching and breaking especially with daily use.

Gold Filled (& Rose Gold)

Are made with 5% solid gold and other base metals (usually brass, copper, or sterling silver) to give it durability and make it perfect for permanent jewelry. May fade or tarnish after long term daily use and other factors, but can be polished and cleaned to renew its look. If taken care of properly it can avoid most of these concerns. It is a cost effective substitute for solid gold.

Sterling Silver

Is made of 92.5% silver while the rest is made from other base metals (usually copper or zinc). Pure silver is too soft so it is mixed with just enough base metals to make it strong but not to difficult to mold making it perfect for permanent jewelry. SS is highly polishable. Sterling silver is much more prone to tarnishing and oxidation but can easily be returned to its original look with a polishing cloth and sometimes a mild cleaner, even more so than gold filled. It is also hypoallergenic.

Stainless Steel

Stainless steel is made from chromium, nickel, and titanium. It is inexpensive and durable and great for everyday use that avoids tarnishing and wear and tear. Should be avoided in those with a nickel allergy.

*all metals can contain nickel depending on the manufacturer, if you have an allergy please discuss with your PJ artist*

Enamel Coated

Enamel coated is made by fusing colored powdered glass to a base metal. Enamel coated pieces can be made with gold filled, sterling silver, gold plated, or vermeil. Gold filled options are better and will last longer but the enamel coated part of the jewelry is still prone to wear. We HIGHLY suggest a clasp be added to all our enamel coated chains and we are not responsible for repair or returns on enamel coated chains for this reason. Enamel coated is a great option as a semi-permanent piece of jewelry. Use as a fun, fashionable, and trendy pop of color to your outfit, style, or season.
